Campaign Force is promoting veterans to serve in public life.
As a former Army officer, Sarah is pleased to endorse the work that the newly-created Community Interest Company, Campaign Force, is doing to encourage veterans to serve their country in politics after leaving the Forces.
Politics should be open to people from across society, all backgrounds and all walks of life. One of those walks of life is the military where veterans leave with experiences that can be useful in politics such as team working and leadership.
Sarah’s military experiences have shaped her politics as a socialist who believes in the power of the collective to improve everyone’s individual interests, and leaving no one behind.
Campaign Force is a cross-party initiative and Sarah has been talking to Labour veterans up and down the country who want to serve their communities as local councillors. You can read more about Campaign Force here: www.campaignforce.co.uk
